Achieving the Perfect Fit: Essential Measurement Tips
-
Preparing for Measurements: Before placing your order, we strongly recommend that you get measured by a professional tailor or follow our comprehensive measurement guide below for accurate results.
-
Measurement Requirements: Ensure you take measurements while barefoot and avoid measuring over clothing, except for undergarments.
A BUST
- Please note, this measurement is not your bra size.
- Wear an unpadded bra (as your dress will have a built-in bra).
- Relax your arms at your sides.
- Gently pull the tape measure across the fullest part of your bust.
B WAIST
- Bend slightly to one side to locate the natural crease of your waist.
- Measure around this slimmest part of your waist.
- Keep the tape slightly loose to allow for comfortable movement and breathing.
C HIPS
- Stand with your feet together.
- Measure around the fullest part of your hips and rear.
- Ensure the tape brush across both hipbones for accurate measurement.
D HOLLOW TO FLOOR
- Stand upright with your feet together.
- Measure from the center of your collarbone (hollow) straight down to the floor.
- Please be aware that we usually add an extra 2 inches to the dress length to accommodate heel height.
E HEIGHT
- Stand tall with your feet together.
- Begin at the top of your head and gently pull the tape measure straight down to the floor.
ARMHOLE
- Extend your arm out and wrap the tape around your shoulder and across the armhole.
- Please measure with bare shoulders.
ARM CIRCUMFERENCE
- Relax your arm and measure around the fullest part of your upper arm.
- Please measure with bare arms.
BELLY
- Stand upright with your abdomen relaxed.
- Measure around your belly button using a tape measure.
